Found this posting in Aunt Ev's 1938 New Castle High School yearbook. "Evelyn Sacripant's dark and vivacious, and we have heard that she's somewhat loquacious." Here is what is listed for her under "Activities of the Seniors"
Perfect Attendance (12), Good Citizenship (12).

Here is a note I sent Aunt Ev years ago. I wanted to share it here. It describes some of the things we tend to forget about a person who lives such a long life and becomes unable to do the many things they used to do.

Dear Aunt Ev,
A short note to let you know that even though we may not see each other as often as we both wish for ... and even though I do not call as often as I would prefer ... I always think of you. You always have been and continue to be such a caring, loving aunt to me. I so admire how you conduct your life ... your interest in the arts (theatre especially), your involvement @ church, your volunteer work at the hospital, your long standing friendships and ongoing kindness to your friends.
I feel blessed and lucky to have you in my life.
All my love,
Kathy
