Michael Thomas Meade

On Saturday, June 20, 2020, Michael Thomas Meade, age 79, of Leetonia, passed into God's care.  He was born on November 30, 1940.

Michael Thomas Meade, age 79, of Leetionia, OH passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 4:52pm of infirmities of age.  He was born on November 30, 1940 in Salem, OH to Betty (Malone) Leiter and Ralph C. Mead.

Michael honorably served his country in the United States Army Signal Corp, was a long-time member of The American Legion Post 131 and retired from Lehmann Mills as a machinist .

Michael leaves to cherish his precious memory, his wife, Patricia D. (Gaskill) Meade with whom he celebrated over 50 years of bliss.  They were married July 5, 1969.  He is also survived by their children, Christopher A. (Heather) Meade Sr., Daniel A. (Jennifer) Meade, Michelle D. (Shane) Chuey, Shane M. Meade; grandchildren, Christopher A. (Meaghan) Meade Jr., Delaynie, McKenzie, Alexander, Caley, Georgia Meade, Zachary, Brandon, Autumn Chuey, Layla Meade; great-granddaughters, Aryana, Emilee and Adalynn.

Besides his parents, Michael was also preceded in death by his sister, Marlene Weaver.

As per Michael’s wishes, no public services will be observed.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask for donations to help offset the cost of service or Community Hospice.
