Cyril M Mikolaj Jr

On Thursday, November 26, 2020, Cyril (Cy) M. Mikolaj Jr., age 58, of Austintown, passed away at St Elizabeth Hospital.  He was born in Youngstown on May 27, 1962 to Cyril M. Sr and Margaret N. (Oliver) Mikolaj.

Cy was a 1980 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps.  He worked at Vinyllume, Extrudex Inc. and Calex Inc.  Cy was a long time member of The Youngstown Maennerchor Club and The Fraternal Order of the Eagles 3298 of Austintown.  He loved fishing, camping, "his" Cleveland Browns and enjoyed going on motorcycle rides with his Harley buddies. He also planned many bike runs for charity.

Cy was proceeded in death by his mother, Margeret and brother-in-law, Roland Messing.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Kathleen (Weir) Mikolaj whom he married November 26, 2008; his daughters, Angel (Michael) Sanders, Melissa (Philip) Igo, Ashley Mikolaj, Michelle Mikolaj, Cassandra (Jordan) Smith and Nicole Hinchcliffe. He also leaves his grandchildren whom he loved and cherished. Kayli, Makayla, Michael, JoJo, Philip, Annabella, Cali.  He also leaves behind his father, Cyril Mikolaj Sr, his brothers, Roy (Lisa) Mikolaj, David Mikolaj, Steve Mikolaj.  Sister-in-laws, Linda (Roland)Messing, Colleen (Steve ) Biroschak, Karen (Jim) Beeman, Maureen (John) Eller and brother-in-laws, Joseph (Korreina) Weir, Michael (Nadine) Weir and many nieces and nephews.

There will be no public memorial service due to the Covid 19 pandemic.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
