June E. (Young) Knight, age 98, was called home to the Lord on Friday, June 1, 2018 in Omni Manor. She was born March 30, 1920 in New Marshfield, Ohio, a daughter of Renzen and Dessmond (Whitlatch) Young.

Her husband, Robert Knight, whom she married, January 14, 1939, died June 25, 1992. She attended East High School and held various jobs during her lifetime. The one that touched her heart most was when they were house parents at Boys Village in Wooster, Ohio. June was a woman of strong faith, who often quoted scripture to keep the family on the right path. She is survived by siblings, William (Debra) Young of Apex, NC, Wilma Drake of North Jackson, OH, several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband June was also preceded in death by siblings, Carl (Sue) Young, Jack Young who died in the Korean War, Betty (Robert) Smith, Eva (Robert) McCall and an infant sister, Barbara Young.
