North Jackson, OH - After battling a long illness on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, Georgeann Fanfer, age 64, passed into God's care in Select Specialty Hospital at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital. She was born in Youngstown on January 13, 1954 to Albert and Leona (Paranzino) Pagley formerly of Hubbard, OH.
Georgie loved spending time with her beloved family especially her grandchildren. She loved gardening, the outdoors, all animals, and her prayer groups especially, Pray for America. She had a huge heart and would do anything she could for anyone. She touched many people with her upbeat attitude, infectious laugh, and a smile that lit up a room.
She married the love of her life in 1985, Robert Fanfer, who preceded her in death. She leaves behind her children, Beth Ann (Craig) Baker of Virginia, Jonah Koby of North Jackson; two step-sons, Ken (Debbie) Koby of Austintown, Keith (Lisa) Koby of Wisconsin; her beautiful grandchildren, Laila 11, Brody 6, Jonah 5, Wyatt eight months; step-grandchildren, Hillary 26, Maggie 25, Carly 22, Allie 20, Kenny 6, and Olivia 3; brothers, Earl Petrosky, Tom Petrosky, John (Tami) Petrosky; her best friend, Lee Etta Hooper of North Jackson and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other dear family members and friends.
​Besides her parents, Georgeann was also preceded in death by brothers, Larry Pagley formerly of Youngstown, Nick Petrosky formerly of Tampa, FL and Paul Petrosky formerly of Austintown.
We would also like to send a huge thank you to the staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, especially the nurses, therapists, and Doctors at Select Specialty Hospital.
As per Georgie’s wishes there will be no calling hours or services. She did not want us to mourn her death but to celebrate her life and love for all of us. She used to say she will be waiting for us at the cookie table in heaven, and what a glorious party it will be!
