Edgar Adams Obituary

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Edgar J. Adams announce his passing on February 12, 2019 at Salem Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.  Ed was born on December 11, 1946   in Coshocton Ohio.  He is the son of Junior and Dora Mae (Franklin) Adams.    He is survived by his children Marcia Slagle (Mike Olenik), James (Marjorie) Adams, JR (Melanie) Adams, Bobbi Jo Adams (Mike Pannunzio), and John Adams.  He was a grandfather to Cassie Kay, Bethany, Brandan, Jordan, Sara, Joey, and Dani-Lynn.  And a great grandfather to Mya and Sabrina.  He is also survived by siblings, Charlotte (Ron) Ogg, Steve Adams, and Melinda (Tommy) Delo.

He was a resident of East Palestine, Ohio and in recent years lived at Essex of Salem.  Ed served his country by joining the US Navy.  He was a member of the Middleton Township Fish and Game.

Ed was happiest when he was holding his favorite fishing rod and sitting next to the lake, or floating on the water.  Ed had a fantastic sense of humor and was always eager to tell someone a good joke.  He loved to laugh and entertain people.

Ed loved to have cook outs and family dinners, so instead of a traditional funeral service, family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life dinner in Ed’s honor at the Middleton Township Fish and Game on Saturday February 16, 2019 at 2pm.
