David Leon Madden

Niles, OH - On Monday, May 29, 2017, David Leon Madden, age 70, passed away in the Cleveland Clinic after a brief illness.  He was born on January 6, 1947 in Carrollton, GA a son of Willis Leon and Mattie Ruth (Hammond) Madden.

David is survived by his beloved wife, Mary "Jane" (Wilkinson) Madden; children, Tracey (David) Cochran of Dallas, GA, Davin (Candace) Madden of NC, Rodney (Sharon) Wilbanks of North Bloomfield, OH, Danielle (Denzel Baugh) DeFalco of Niles, Gabrielle (Anthony) Duncan of LA; siblings, Jerry. Jeff, Anne (Steve) Mulkey, all of GA; eight grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Besides his parent David was preceded in death by his brother, Ray Madden.

David was a member of UAW Local 1714 and retired from the GM Lordstown plant in 2003.  He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the United States Army 1st Calvary, Airborne Division.

The Madden family will have a gathering of family and friends will be held from 1 PM until the Celebration of Life Celebration at 2 PM on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at in the Galilee  Apostolic Church, 3939 Potomac Ave., Austintown, OH 44515.
