Carol Evers Pylypiw passed away July 13, 2019. Born in Cleveland, and an alumnus of Austintown Fitch High School, Carol worked in the steel industry for Sawhill Tube, AK Steel, and Wheatland Tube where she rose to the top of her profession. She is survived by her husband of the last twenty eight years, Peter Pylypiw. Respected and loved by all who came in contact with her, she lived her life with dignity, grace, and fashion, always seeing the best in every person.
She will be deeply missed but not forgotten by her immediate families, son Michael (Stephanie) Pylypiw and Nicholas, mother Margaret Irja Anthony; sisters, Janet (Mike) Splain, Jackie (Dan) Diorio, brother, Rick (Linda) Gettemy and family; nieces, Jill (Jim) Barnhart and Zeita, Michelle (Aaron) Patlin and Alana; nephews, Danny (Heather) Diorio and Nico, Chris (Breanna) Splain, Steve (Amber) Pylypiw and Bennett, Joseph Pylypiw, Mark Miller family; brother in law, Steve (Chris) Pylypiw; sister in law, Susan (Ed) Pylypiw. Carol will also be forever remembered by her extended family and dear friends. Carol's support system was strong and everyone made her passing noble. Words cannot express how much she was loved and will be missed.
In lieu of a service, visitation and flowers, we ask that your expression of love becomes a donation to either "Hope Center for Cancer Care" or "MVI Hospice" both of Youngstown, Ohio. Both of these groups do God's work and the proceeds will help those in need. God bless Carol!
