James "Jim" Bell Jr.

Columbiana, OH - On Wednesday, December 6, 2017, James Bell, age 90, passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Boardman. He was born in East Palestine, Ohio on May 16, 1927 to James and Violet Swanson-Bell.

James is survived by his wife Dixie; sons, James of Toledo, Timothy of S. Carolina, Brett of E. Palestine; daughter, Cassie of Hot Springs, AR; grandchildren, Heidi Witherow, Shawn, Adam, Michael, Jimmy Bell; great-granddaughters, Aneica and Aleena.

Besides his parents James was preceded in death by his sisters, Helen, Louise, and Thelma (Bingo); brothers, Jack and Raymond (Beau)   

Jim loved baseball, horses and golf.  He was a club pro at Copeland Hills Golf Course in Columbiana and was always willing to take the time to help anyone that asked to improve their game.  Most of all Jim was a loving husband and father that will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

A Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at 3 PM in The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 700 Brookdale Ave. East Palestine, Ohio.
