Howard "Ben" H. Beniston

Austintown, OH - Howard H. "Ben" Beniston, age 74, of Youngstown went home with our Lord early Saturday morning, January 20, 2018 at his home with family by his side. Howard was born February 20, 1943 in Youngstown, OH where he remained a life long resident.  He was the son of the late William and Viola (Waylond) Bensiton.

Ben was a supervisor at Esco for 25 years.  He enjoyed grilling, morning coffee with his wife and brother in his favorite chair, spending time with his family and friends, and of course a nice cold Pepsi.  He was a dedicated Browns fan, and his wife a Steelers fan, which made the games even more intense.  You always knew when he had arrived somewhere.  Most of the time you would hear him before you would see him.  He was always the loudest, funniest, and craziest man and always stood out from the crowd.  Ben knew how to live life; he laughed hard, loved deeply, and cared with all his heart for so many.

Howard leaves his wife of 35 years, Diane Summerland Beniston, whom he married in 1983.  "You were the best of the best as a husband, dad, grandpa, and friend.  We love you so very much!"

Private family burial is being planned in Green Haven Memorial Park.
